What we collect automatically

Like most websites, this site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to work at all — keeping you logged into the admin area, and preventing cross-site request forgery on forms. These are set regardless of any choice you make, because the site cannot function securely without them.

Enquiry click tracking (optional)

When you click a Call, WhatsApp, or Contact link on this site, we record that a click happened — which page it was on, and when. This helps Emzed Lifestyle understand which vehicles and pages actually generate enquiries, so stock that's genuinely getting interest is easy to spot, and pages that aren't converting can be improved.

If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, we additionally record the IP address and browser/device of that specific click. We ask for this because it lets Emzed Lifestyle confidently match an enquiry that comes in by phone or WhatsApp back to the website visit that led to it — for example, confirming a sale genuinely started here rather than guessing. It also feeds into training our staff and improving how vehicles are presented: seeing exactly which listings and pages turn into real conversations helps us keep doing what works and fix what doesn't. We keep this information to a minimum on purpose — it is never used for advertising, never sold, never profiled against you, and never shared with any third party.

If you choose Necessary only, the click is still counted in our aggregate statistics, but no IP address or browser information is stored against it.

IP address and browser information attached to a click are automatically and permanently removed after 6 months. The anonymous count and timestamp are kept for historical reporting.

Contact and enquiry forms

Information you submit through a contact, test-drive, or finance enquiry form (such as your name, phone number, email, and message) is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is stored securely in our system. It is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can decline optional click tracking at any time via the cookie banner.
